  15. TASM IS AN ASSEMBLER which runs on the IBM PC/XT/AT or compatibles and
  16. creates code for any of three 8 bit processors: 8048, 8051, or 6502.
  17. The 65C02 is also supported. The program will assemble to .COM files or
  18. ROMable code.
  19.  
  20. TASM gets its instruction set from external tables. The user can customize
  21. TASM to produce code for other processors by creating an Instruction
  22. Definition Table for the target chip.
  23.  
  24. There is an extensive 51 page manual which includes directions for creating
  25. custom Instruction Definition Tables.
